Gerard Way's Views on Fans Being 'EMO'

Ok, here it is... I've decided to post this due to people denying that 'Emo' is shit and that it doesn't exist anymore.
Here's what Gerard Way thinks of the 'Emo' fans... This from the February 2008 issue of L!ME when Levan Wee interviewed Gerard Way backstage before their concert here in Singapore...

Question: "You once said that "Emo is shit" yet most of your fans consider themselves to be "Emo Kids". Does that mean your fans are shit?

Answer: "Emo is shit! I don't think Emo music even exists anymore, It's just a tool that record labels use to sell albums. When I think about Emo music, I think about bands I used to listen to like The Promis Ring or Sunny Day Real Estate - That stuff was amazing! The Emo of today is nothing! It's unfortunate that our fans call themselves Emo kids, but it's not really their fault. They're buying into magazine articles, media hype and all that crap. I don't know if I have the patience to tell the kids that they aren't Emo or if I really even care because I don't and it really doesn't affect me."

So please people, Emo is shit, it doesn't exist anymore...

Today...

Today was awesome... Woke up at 7.30 then turned on the laptop...
Then went to bathe... After bathing, did my own PT since it was Monday...
After that, went back to the laptop...
Then I had my lunch, had porridge...
After eating, played Jackass on my PSP...
Then I went to bathe again since I sweat a little...
I went out to Hub after bathing...
Went to watch "Made of Honor" with my best buds Jie An and Darryle...
Funny shit there...
Went to buy the tickets, then we walked around...
Went up to buy the snacks as the movie was about to start...
Saw the commercial for "Don't Mess with the Zohans", whatever the title is called, it was fucking funny!
Movie ended at around 5.15...
After the movie, went to Darryle's house...
Nice place... Stayed there till 8...
Then Darryle's dad drove me home...
Had my dinner and here I am...

Went home, bathed, watched a little TV then went to my grandmother's house for lunch...
Came back home, watched TV and here I am...
